Classic Finds: butter London

Walking into my local Ulta store I was excited to see the display for butter London nail polish.  Having heard good things about their nail lacquer, I wanted to try it right away. Nothing finishes a classic look quite like well-manicured, polished nails!  However, I am often disappointed with the polish I buy.  It chips far too easily and looks unkept in way too short of a time.  I may be busy, but I want my nails to look good.  So, after making my purchase I returned home and promptly painted my nails.  I have to admit, it was almost love at first sight.  The color was rich and covered my nails beautifully in one coat; the second coat simply added to the depth of color. Happily, my nails survived without chips for two days, which is a record for my active hands.  Actually, I was able to go for a week before having to redo my nails …. definitely a winner in my book.

My color choice:  Blowing Raspberries.  The site’s description is quite true: “A rich, delicious berry lacquer. Perfect for in-between days when red is too much and pink is too little.”
