I have to admit, I feel a little conflicted this time of year. Just as my excitement grows for fall and I warm up to the idea of sweaters and winter coats, fashion designers from around the globe preview their spring collections in New York. Part of me wants to say, “No, no … it’s too early, I want to enjoy fall” (fully understanding that buyers always work six months in advance), and the other part of me says, ” Ooo, maybe just a peak … surely a little peak wouldn’t disturb my fall psyche too much”. Well, considering I usually read the end of the book first and the spoilers for the next week and the week after for my favorite daytime serial, you can guess which part of me won. Therefore, without trying to take anything away from the splendor of fall, here is a little peak at what is to come into our world of fashion in Spring 2013.
